Eschatology

Eschatology (/ˌɛskəˈtÉ’lÉ™dÊ’i/ (listen); from Ancient Greek á¼”σχατος (éskhatos) 'last', and -logy) concerns expectations of the end of the present age, human history, or the world itself. The word "eschatology" arises from the Ancient Greek term á¼”σχατος (éschatos), meaning "last", and -logy, meaning "the study of", and first appeared in English around 1844.
